The Richmond Iron Works was a group of several small iron foundries located around Richmond, Virginia. A prototype car was completed in 1910 with the production model appearing in early 1911.

The Virginian was a 50 hp four-cylinder automobile offered as a seven-passenger torpedo touring and a four-passenger torpedo roadster. However only a small number of cars were built and it was all over for the Virginian by February 1912.

The white and blue enamel Virginian radiator emblem shown above is extremely rare.
