This web-site presents the nameplates, emblems and logos displayed on American auto vehicles from the introduction of the horseless carriage up to about 1950. My intention is to provide a reference base for collectors and researchers. I would welcome any corrections or observations and details of other emblems or vehicle makes to add to this reference base. For more details see the Pages listed on the right.

Hathaway-Purinton Co. (1924-1925)
This is a Hathaway-Purinton nameplate (1924-1925) mjs Size: 380mm wide 53mm high
Hathaway-Purinton offered 3-ton trucks using 28.9hp four-cylinder engines between 1924 and 1925. It is believed that only a prototype or at most a few production trucks were ever built.
It is not known if the Hathaway-Purinton truck carried an emblem on the radiator tank top but this is felt to be unlikely. The original Hathaway-Purinton nameplate shown above is ultra rare.
