The Detroit-Dearborn Motor Car Company was established in 1909 and prototype models were ready by the end of the year. The Detroit-Dearborn was a 35 hp four-cylinder motor car and was offered as a Nike touring roadster and a Minerva touring torpedo. The model names were fancy but the cars were not special.

The Detroit-Dearborn was not successful and the company was bankrupt before the end of 1910 after a total production of 110 cars.
