Bimel Automobile Co. (1916-1917)

Sidney, Ohio

This is a Bimel radiator emblem (1916-1917)    mjs
Size: 70mm diameter    MM: Whitehead & Hoag

The Bimel Four was a badge-engineered Elco Model 30 four-cylinder car, the rights to which had been secured in 1915 when the company making the Elco went bankrupt. A new six-cylinder Bimel car was advertised but that car does not appear to have been produced. The Bimel Automobile Company did not succeed and was finished by May 1917.

The blue and white enamel Bimel radiator emblem shown above is rare.
