This is a Cricket cyclecar radiator nameplate (1913-1914) dkc |
The Cricket was a small, lightweight four-wheel cyclecar based on an extended motorcycle frame powered by a 9 hp v-twin engine located next to the driver. The Cricket had a narrow false radiator frame at the front of the car.
The Cricket appeared in November 1913 but it was all over about a year later in 1914.
Emblem
The Cricket name was cast into the top of the false radiator frame, see photos shown below and at the top of this post. This "CRICKET" nameplate is extremely rare.
