The Buffalo Electric Carriage Company produced various electric vehicles from 1901 to 1906 but was not very successful. In 1906 the Buffalo factory was taken over by F A Babcock to manufacture the Babcock Electric car, which was also unsuccessful (see Babcock Electric).
The Buffalo Electric Vehicle Company appeared in 1912 with a new Buffalo Electric car, which was designed to look like a gasoline car and incorporated a hood and a false radiator. But electric cars were becoming unpopular and despite a valuable contract for the sale of its cars in Philadelphia and New York the company was finished by 1915.
Emblems
The first Buffalo Electric cars in 1901-1906 did not carry an emblem but may have displayed the Buffalo Electric name on small nameplates/serial plates.
The later Buffalo Electric cars from 1912 had a false radiator and did display a radiator emblem, see the white enamel Buffalo Electric radiator emblem shown above. This Buffalo Electric radiator emblem is very rare.

The red enamel Buffalo Electric radiator emblem shown below has the same high quality of in depth detail and finish as the white enamel emblem shown above and is believed to be a genuine original radiator emblem. This Buffalo Electric radiator emblem is extremely rare.

I cannot confirm the specific dates of use of these Buffalo Electric radiator emblems but I suspect that the red enamel radiator emblem may have been used on the Model 36 coupe that appeared in 1915.
There is another Buffalo Electric emblem on display at the Buffalo Transportation Pierce Arrow Museum, which has a very three-dimensional buffalo head in the center in place of the full buffalo, see photos shown below:

This Buffalo Electric emblem has not been seen elsewhere and may have been a trial emblem or made for a special occasion. It is ultra rare.
